Winter Coat

Break up the week with some social sewing. Think wine, snacks, great yarns with a bunch of like minded folks, and of course building your sewing skills.

This Winter Coat Workshop is a 5 week evening series, where we will work through, step by step how to make a lined coat. You can choose to make one for yourself or a childs size. 

We will be making the Grove Coat from Twig & Tale. The Grove Coat is a relaxed fitting, lined coat with a generous hood and deep pockets. Check out Twig & Tales website or #grovecoat on Insatram for inspo. 

This is an advanced beginner workshop series. I recommend you coming along to my Learn to Sew workshop first if your a complete beginner.

What we'll cover:

• Navigating a PDF Pattern
• Sewing in seam pockets
• Lining a garment
• Fusing and Facings
• Buttons and Buttons Holes

And the best part is, you will end up with a beautifully made Coat for winter, made by you!

Sewing machines and fusing provided. You will need to supply your own fabric. 

When: Wednesday evenings, May 21st & 28th, June 4th, 11th & 18th

Tickets: $215 + $10 pattern and instructions you will keep
